Grow Idaho Falls, Inc. - Chief Executive Officer

Linda Martin is the Chief Executive Officer for Grow Idaho Falls Inc. giving special attention to the promotion of Idaho Falls/Ammon/Bonneville County, Idaho, for new business site location attraction, retention/expansion for existing companies, community development/quality of life activities, and advocacy and support for businesses (most notably the AREVA Eagle Rock Enrichment Facility, Idahoan HQ, Syringa Networks, and the recent passage of the Auditorium District for the Events Center). 

Due to those activities, our community and/or Grow Idaho Falls have received national recognition on such lists as:

·        2010 CNN Money Magazine one of the "Top 100 Cities"
·        2010 Forbes.com one of the "Best Small Places for Business & Careers"

Formerly, Linda was with the Quad City Development Group, where she led over 20 location/‌ expansion projects, which resulted in approximately $157 Million in capital investment and over 2,000 jobs.  Additionally, she worked for several years with an electric utility, specializing in domestic and international rubber/plastics/chemicals clients, which resulted in 57 companies
selecting plant sites/locations in the state of Georgia, and created over 4,800 jobs.
 

She was also Director of Marketing for ATC Associates, a construction materials testing and environmental company in Atlanta.  Linda obtained her first real estate sales and brokers licenses by the time she was 21 in Missouri; and was in the Industrial Division of Grubb & Ellis, and a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors in Atlanta, Georgia.

Linda is a graduate of the University of Louisiana-Monroe, with a B.A. in Government.  She received the designation of Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) in 1992.  In Idaho, she has expanded her education and professional network with the following organizations:
