Dana Blackburn is known to inspire, motivate and entertain her audiences while leaving
them with practical ideas about how to make the most out of everyday situations. Dana came to the University of Phoenix
after nearly 20 years of sales, marketing, leadership and management experience, with the Idaho Transportation Department,
O'Callahan's Catering, and Eagle Press in Idaho Falls.
During these economic times, Dana is focusing
her energy on helping organizations to understand the importance of employee training and development. As a Workforce
Solutions Advisor with the University of Phoenix, she works to find personnel solutions for businesses in Eastern Idaho and
promotes education to business professionals, and the community. Her passion is to encourage people to move beyond their
comfort zone, and reach new levels of personal development through education, dedication, and hard work. She is an active
member of the Southeast Idaho Society of Human Resource Management, the Greater Pocatello, Twin Falls, Rexburg, and Idaho
Falls Chambers of Commerce, and serves as an Idaho Falls Chamber Ambassador. She believes the best way to serve the
community is to share personal struggles and roadblocks, find solutions, and take action by inspiring people to never lose
sight of their dreams.
